Drivers have noticed distinctive signs of progress taking place as crews ready to add new mast arms and traffic signals along Mountain Industrial Boulevard.
Orange cables poking up from the ground are an important part of the installation process. New fiber optic technology will be used to help better manage traffic flow.
The CID is working with the Georgia Department of Transportation and DeKalb County to add install LED (light emitting diode) lighted street signs on the mast arms once the project is complete.
